About his Family

His mother is an extremely liberal, open minded, large hearted, accommodating and understanding woman. She’s truly both a home maker and a house maker (pun intended, for they recently re-constructed their house and owing to the untimely demise of his father, it was all supervised and coordinated by her).

She’s fond of travelling and is very capable of doing solo trips at this age.
Despite the generation gap, he and his mother are very good friends, a bond seen scarcely among mothers and sons these days.

His sister is exactly the way younger sister’s should be. Easy going, light and chirpy, full energy and enthusiasm, the one who remembers all birthdays and anniversaries of the entire extended family. She’s pursuing her masters in public administration and has completed her bachelor’s from Venkateshwara college in History Hons.

Education

vcompleted his schooling from St. Xavier’s Delhi and then completed my B.Tech from IIT Delhi.  His lack of interest in the subject of his degree, ensured that he had ample time to explore/identify his interests and more so himself as a person.

He fell in love with reading and dedicated ample time reading books on genres ranging from classical English literature, to economics, philosophy, war-history, geopolitics, political economy, religion and spirituality. He still lives with my love for reading, merely the subjects of interest have changed.

IIT taught him so little about engineering and so much about the world of endless possibilities we live in.  He was exposed to and inspired by the diversity of the potential of human capabilities and what a man can achieve in a lifetime, and those humbling lessons still stay close to him.

Occupation

Right out of IIT,   joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a consultant.  He quit soon and started inoXapps, an android gaming studio which got over 150miilion downloads for its products. Nikunj made very good money, but later closed it to pursue an even bigger opportunity.
 
His next company was called FranklyMe, aimed at creating a video social network.  Raised over 2.6Mn USD from Venture Capitalists, ran it for 18 months and then shut it down, returning a significant portion of unspent money.

He has recently started his third company, called DarwinLabs, this time again bootstrapped and already very profitable, is building ultra geek products in the areas of Augmented Reality/Virtual reality and cryptocurrencies (like Bitcoin). 

His love for technology and staying ahead of the times around him continues to be the driving force behind his career choices
