About his Family

Our ancestral native is 'Varganti'  in Andhra Pradesh. We shifted to Maharashtra generations back and presently reside at Maharashtra.

Ours is a well-educated, nuclear family endowed with richness of heart and brains and with a Defence background. My late uncle was in Indian Air Force as Wing Commander.

My father is a real-estate business owner at Pusad and my mother is homemaker. I have two siblings - an elder brother and a younger sister. My elder brother is a C.S. (Company Secretary), M. Com., LL.B. and D.I.T. (C-DAC recognised) and is associated with State Bank of India Group’s SBI Capital Markets Limited, Mumbai as an Assistant Vice President with an annual emoluments of Rs. 24,00,000/-. My sister-in-law is B. Com, CA (Chartered Accountant) from Vijaywada, AP. My younger sister is married and is working as an Assistant Manager, ICICI Bank.

Other notable jewels in the crown of our family include my first elder cousin brother, who is a renowned builder and my second elder cousin brother, who runs a state- of-the-art hospital, Maharashtra. My second elder cousin brother is an M.Ch. (Neurosurgeon) from Mumbai University and has a distinctive recognition of securing a gold medal in the University after a gap of 12 years. After a family settlement, my late uncle's family has settled in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.

Education

I completed my entire education in English medium. I received my Bachelors in Technology (Technology of Fibers & Textile Processing) from the world-renowned U.D.C.T. (now known as U.I.C.T.), Mumbai. This was followed by M.S. (Chemical Engineering) and M.S. (Textile Chemistry) from North Carolina State University, USA. I have recently earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the same University. Throughout my academic career I have performed exceedingly well. As a result, I was the recipient of many scholarships and was provided financial support as a student of merit for my further studies in USA. Alongside work, I completed my employer sponsored Executive MBA from Duke University with the recognition of Fuqua Scholar - awarded to top 10% of the class for academic excellence.

Occupation

Currently, I am working as a Corporate Strategy Manager with Eastman Chemical Company. My Annual emoluments are ~$150,000.
