Padmashali community members are traditionally engaged into weaving cotton and silk fabric. This is a social group and members are settled in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Orissa. Though settled in any part of the country, the members are connected through common mother tongue, Telugu.
