I am a EuropeanSikh.
Born and raised in Europe, I am a person with Sikh values and a mix of Indian and Western thinking.
My family and friends describe me as: a caring, ambitious, independent, self-confident, honest, committed, family orientated young woman with a positive outlook on life.

I believe life is a school, where God gives us opportunities to learn and grow. Being a Sikh to me means, making use of these opportunities to become the best person we can be, making useful contributions to society, leading a balanced life, fulfilling a role model function.

In my spare time I read literature, do aerobics, go roller-blading, and I enjoy travelling.
Family
My family can be described as a religious, God loving, highly educated, down to earth, social, close-knit Gursikh family.
Overall it can be said that we live according to Sikh values and a mix of Indian and Western thinking, which makes us traditional in some ways and liberal in others.
Occupation
I head the development department of a company that provides software solutions for hospitals and clinics.
Preferred Partner
My ideal partner would be a person with love for Sikhi, a similar mindset as myself, strong communication skills and a good sense of humor. Someone who tries to bring out the best in everybody around him. Someone who is handy at balancing all the different aspects of life (work, family, social & spiritual). Someone who regards marriage as a life-long equal partnership in which we support each other to learn and grow.
Someone that understands and can handle the fact that as a Sikh, one has a role model function.
He should be a teetotaller (so no drinking or smoking), a Dastaar wearing non-trimmer, highly educated and ambitious.
