This is my middle daughter. Her elder sister is 29, married and a doctor(GP), her younger sister is 24, and in her 6th year med student at Imperial university, and her younger brother is 21 and in his 3rd year med student at Manchester University. I am a primary school teacher. My husband sadly passed away 9 years ago and was a GP.

We are all in the UK (I came over from AP, India with my husband in 1981). All our extended family live in India. As a result, our nuclear family is very close. We laugh a lot, and all my children see the funny side of everything.

My children are really wonderful and have excellent family values. They embody all the modest Hindu cultural principles and propriety with the character that comes from being British. They are very much the product of the best of both cultures.

My daughter has graduated from University of Cambridge medical school. She was born and brought up in the UK. She started her CT2 Psy tra in August 2008(Bootham park hospital -York). She is a very open, friendly and talkative person and would need someone who is similarly outgoing, open-minded and isn't afraid of a good debate. I think that sense of humour is a prerequisite. She would also want to be with someone who wants to travel, both in the UK and abroad. She will be based in North Yorkshire for at least the next 2.6 years or so.
