Our daughter exhibits a poise of a well-balanced life. She is a woman who can jog 5 kilometers at 5am in the morning, work full time, go to school full time, and still maintain a picture perfect home. Our emphasis that our daughter is well-balanced is not overstated. She outshines most other Indian girls in America for the fact that she has maintained a strong connection to her Indian heritage while acquiring the best qualities of an American woman. With this exceptional combination of qualities, my daughter is evenly balanced in her Hindu religious beliefs, goals in her career and health, and her family life.

She also had numerous opportunities to live in Lucknow over several years. She took advantage of her stay and attended Loreto Convent along with learning about her Indian culture through her relatives. She is extremely fluent in Hindi, can cook most regional dishes, and is knowledgeable about India’s history, politics, and culture.

She completed her education with the purpose of gaining wisdom along with finding the right career. Thus, she did her undergraduate education in two degrees, Microbiology and Religious Studies, two diverse subjects. She is now completing a double degree in MBA and Masters in Health Management. Her current choice of education reflects the connection to her childhood aspirations of making a positive impact in lives of people, especially children, in underprivileged circumstances. Because of such goals, she was awarded many scholarships and nominations in her academics.

She has participated throughout her life in several activities such as track and field, tennis, academic decathlon, and several other clubs. Her hobbies lie in exercising, playing the violin, cooking, reading business books, and attending any fun activity with her girlfriends. She loves to enjoy life and has a healthy social circle. She also loves to listen to all kinds of music ranging from old and classical Hindi to English. Most of all, she loves spending time with her family and her elder brother. She plans to travel with her future husband and share similar activities.
Her professional career has started at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She is a microbiologist who oversees the lab. She will be graduating with her Masters and will be working in Administration at Mayo Clinic. Her goal is to remain in Arizona and to be a top Administrative Officer in the health industry.

My daughter previously made an unfortunate mistake but has since learned from it greatly. She was married for a very short time only to have it annulled and has moved on to better things in life. She is very confident and accomplished in all aspects of life and is looking forward to making a family of her own and giving all she is to her future husband.

As parents, we cannot be any more proud of our daughter. She has a very soft heart, a dedication to make others happy, and a great deal of potential in anything she attempts. Where ever she goes and who ever she will marry will be blessed to have her in their lives. As her dadi always said, “ladki ke sath laxmi aathi hai”, our daughter reflects such a saying.



My Family:
Indian born parents from Lucknow. Father is a professional engineer. Mother has a Masters degree. One brother is in Finance at Intel and very successful in his profession along with in Real Estate.
