In her own words :-
I grew up in Bombay and came to the US about seven years ago. I'm currently working in Portland, Oregon and simultaneously completed my PhD in industrial/organizational psychology.

About myself: I think of myself as a blend of various things - independent, broad-minded and flexible, very close to my family and friends, sensible and practical, at the same time sensitive and perceptive.

What I like: All kinds of music, from Anu Malik to the Beatles, from Carnatic music to Dave Mathews all the way to Zeppelin! Also books, movies, book and movie trivia, travel, etc. While this may read like the usual suspects in terms of interests, the choice of reading, viewing and listening materials is probably where I differ from many!

My family background: My father is a mechanical engineer from IIT who strangely enough, works as a German translator now! My mother is a singer and teacher. My brother is a software specialist, married to a biotechnology researcher. They all live in Bombay
