I am a sufficiently ambitious, independent, disciplined, go-getter, a performer on life's stage (not a passive viewer); I like books as friends, always maintain high quality and standards in every aspect of life (will not make quality compromises), do not socialize too much, a very deep thinker, can be a very good friend (though I have found very few TRUE friends). I am very calm and patient, socially courteous, a mature conversationalist and a practical problem-solver.
I am doing my Ph. D in Naval Architecture from the University of Michigan, Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. I did my integrated (5 years) B. Tech + M. Tech in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur 2001-2006.

I grew up in Sindri, in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. I did my schooling from Mount Carmel school Dhanbad, ICSE board. Then I did my ISC from De Nobili school
My extra-curricular activities are learning Sanskrit and Odissi. I like reading non-fiction and travel books. I am an early-riser and practise Yoga daily. I am equally proficient in Hindi, English and Bengali. I am very cleanliness-conscious and keep my house and office very neat, tidy, orderly and organized.
I believe we are neither males nor females : we are units of cosmic-human energy which have to be utilized for the benefit of the mankind.

I am looking for a true friend and life partner. I would prefer a Probashi Bangali, with at least a Ph. D in engineering/science.
