I'm a smart and fun-loving gal who loves to make others laugh. I'm caring, a good listener, very talkative, and shy (when it comes to new people, but once I know you, get ready). My friends would say that I'm very dependable and can easily brighten someone's day by making them laugh. With me, there's not going to be a dull moment. I love to read, dance, listen to music (especially bhangra and film music... anything with a good beat), watch tv and movies, and of course shopping. I love watching science and crime mystery shows like CSI and Law & Order.
I'm currently a graduate student in Georgia pursuing a dual degree in MPH and RHIA and will graduate next May. I will hopefully get accepted into medical school, where I can fulfill my goal of becoming a family physician. I've always wanted to be a doctor, and if I do not get accepted, then I will most likely be a hospital administrator with my degree I'm pursuing now. Either way, I'll be in the healthcare field, because I want to help people in times of need.
Of course most of my time is spent on school, but the time I do have to myself, I'm watching tv or talking to friends, or my favorite... sleeping. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to most of the stuff I do, but I do believe it keeps me level and has me on my toes always urging me to do my best. Something that absolutely bothers me are stupid people... ignorance happens, but stupidity.
I respect the institution of marriage and want to get married and settle down with that one perfect guy. I would love a guy who can make me laugh, is always by my side, and respects and loves me for who I am. Of course I would obviously want my man to be good-looking, but a kind heart and intelligence are very high requirements as well. Since I am malu, I would want my partner to be a malu christian as well. Overall, my prospective partner has to be what every girl wants... a MAN.
My Job: I'm currently a graduate student in a reputable college and intend to graduate with a Masters in Public Health and a Post-Baccalaureate degree in Registered Health Information Administration. After my graduate degree, I intend to go to medical school to become a family doctor, a lifelong goal. One day I would like to own my own practice/hospital and I believe my graduate degree will help me in pursuing that goal.
Looking for: I would want my life partner to be a malayalee who knows malayalam, obviously. I want him to be smart, sweet, have a great personality, know the difference between right and wrong, cultural, know where he comes from in terms of being a Malayalee, among many others. I would want my partner to have career goals and plan on advancing himself every day in terms of career, education, spirituality, etc. Above all, I would want my partner to be religious because I strongly believe that God is the reason for my existence and for my life, so I would want someone who shares the same belief. An open minded person is vital to a relationship, and I would hope that my partner is aware of both the Indian and American culture and finds a balance rather than be an extremist.
About Career: Plan to work after marriage.
My Family:
My family is moderate in thinking but still holds onto the Indian culture strongly. Since a young age, both my brother and I have been taught the values and principles of the Indian culture. My parents have taught me a whole lot and thanks to them I am the person that I am today. As for my brother, he keeps me grounded and helps me to realize the importance of sharing and communication, because without these, no relationship is sustainable.
