About her Family

We belong to Brahmin Smarthas community. Widely traveled and broad minded but having respect for traditions. is our only daughter. She is balanced , matured and well mannered. She is very caring especially with elderly people like her grand parents and the younger kids. In her work she is sincere, dedicated and meticulous. She is an Engineering Graduate and is working as a Project Portfolio Manager in a Solar EPC Company. She grew up in an Upper middle class, Nuclear family with Moderate values. We are from Bangalore but have been living in Hyderabad for the last 16 years. I am working at a Sr Position in GVK and my wife is a homemaker.

Education

Like most people I took up engineering (a logical extension to my liking for Physics and Maths). I always wanted to pursue the relatively more core streams of engineering such as Civil or Mechanical and so I took up Civil Engineering. I will be pursuing my Masters in environmental management from Duke University from August 2018 to take my career forward and to get a more varied perspective in life.

Occupation

I had a chance to pursue my career in the IT industry after graduation, but I wasn't keen to do so. I found the infrastructure, power, EPC framework a more interesting area to work in. I have always wanted to work in an ideal set up that comprised personal advancement in career and a sense of satisfaction by the kind of impact that is created through my work. I found the area of Renewable Energy to be a perfect blend of the two. In the span of close to 3 years that I've been employed in a Solar EPC Co., Freyr Energy Services as a Project Portfolio Manager, I've had the opportunity of self learning and growth along with a huge feel-good feeling when I witness the positive impact created in the lives of thousands of villagers who are now experiencing the benefits of electricity for the first time.
