Family comprises of self, wife and two sons. 
Father : After Senior Cambridge from Public Convent School Dehra Dun, received training on board Training Ship ‘Dufferin’, Bombay – was awarded the Presidents Gold Medal for standing first and the ‘Discipline Shield’  for attaining the highest standard of Discipline (awarded by Chief of Naval Staff). Holds ‘Extra Master’s Certificate of Competency issued by the Department of Trade and Industry, UK. Served in Central PSE and superannuated as ‘General Manager’ (rank immediate below Board Level, which has been recently, re-designated by Govt. as Senior Vice President). Presently working as faculty  grooming young cadet officers, in the same PSE. 
Mother : A home maker. She is born and brought up in Bombay. Studied in Bombay Scottish School, and Sophia College, Mumbai. She is a Graduate and done secretarial course from Davar’s College, Bombay.  
I am a Punjabi of mital gotra. We are a cosmopolitan nuclear family, widely traveled worldwide. Have a modern and liberal outlook. We are Non–Veg. 
My maternal and paternal relatives are settled mostly in Punjab and some in Mumbai. My wife’s maternal and paternal uncles are settled in Bengal and Mumbai.
