About his Family

We are natives of Karnataka, belonging to the Hoysala Karnataka sect of Smartha Brahmins. We have been residents of Pune since 2001. My father , born & brought up in Maharashtra, is resident of Pune since 1976.  Father is Sr Leader -  Management Committee member in one of India's Top Auto component group. Designated as President - Technology & Innovation, he is a Mechanical Engineer & Cost Accountant. Mother operates a Coaching Academy. She holds a PG degree in English Literature, and speaks all South Indian Languages. Younger sister has completed her PGDBM from ICFAI Business School. She is employed in Ernst & Young as a Business analyst. She is an accomplished Bharat Natyam dancer.
We are a nuclear family and would prefer that our son, too adopts a nuclear family lifestyle.
The family believes in following Good Traditions and Customs of Religion, Spirituality and Liberalism, in a modern day setting.

Education

Schooling has been in Maharashtra - Nashik, Pimpri-Chinchwad New Town Development Authority, Naperville-IL, USA., in Top Schools.
Graduate -  Mechanical Engineering from Dr DY Patil College of Engineering, PUNE
Post Graduate -  MBA at SP Jain School of  Global Management - Mumbai, Singapore, Dubai, specializing in Finance and Operations.
While Kannada is my mother tongue, i speak Marathi, Hindi, German. I can understand Telugu and Tamil.

Occupation

Started at Magnetti Marelli India Pvt Ltd, in Pune (2 years).
Currently at  Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd, in the Power Train Engineering function for India and Global Engine Platforms for VW, Skoda, Audi.
Have plans to move out into a Consulting role in one of the Big Four or into a Strategists and Corporate Planning / Business Development at an appropriate time
