About his Family

Hail from a Delhi-based Hindu-Punjabi family. Both of my parents are working; Father is a Class-1 Gazetted officer in a Government Organization and mother is working as a Purchase Manager in a reputed Pharmaceuticals firm.
Have an elder sister, officer in the Indian Air Force and happily married for over a decade now.

Education

My entire schooling has been from Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. Followed by a B.Tech in Marine Engineering from BITS (Birla Institue of Technology and Science), Pilani where I held a distinction.
Have a highly extensive array of my career related core specializations which comes as a part of being in the Merchant Navy and have been acquired by self over the duration of my graduation and in the years that followed.

Occupation

Working as a third engineer in a Singapore based private Shipping Company. Started my career with the same employer and have successfully completed more than 4 years with them.
Recently acquired MEO Class-2 Certificate of Competency after successful completion of government held exams (Directorate General of Shipping). 
Have plans to continue in the same profession for about 5 more years so as to get to the highest rank in my concerned department and then settle ashore accordingly as per the conditions prevalent down the years.
