About his Family

My late father was a lawyer. He was also active in various fields including Municipal Corporation and Rotary International. He got a 'Service above self' award. My mother is well educated in music and is an MA in Sanskrit from BHU with a 2nd rank. She worked as an honorary lecturer. She takes turns in staying with her children and being a very nice person, adjusts very well to different households. All my brothers and sisters are well settled in life and careers like doctors, lawyers, chartered accountants and IT professionals. All of them live in India except my youngest sister and nieces who live in the US. My family members meet and celebrate festivals and functions, whenever possible. 

I have 3 independent and mature boys of ages 32 and 30 (twins), who are well settled in Singapore  They have no objection to my remarriage. They spend time with me and my extended family in India, whenever possible. We have many common interests including classical music and sports.

Education

B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Andhra University, Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering from IIT, Delhi and Post doctoral research in Barcelona, Spain.

Occupation

I am working for an edtech company in Chennai in a senior position. I have returned to India in December 2020 after working abroad for 23 years. I was a Professor and Head of Department at a renowned private University near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Earlier, I've been Senior Faculty member in chemical engineering at UITM, a Malaysian University and the chairman of a new academic program in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering. I worked in various organizations in India and abroad including an American MNC. I like to exploring new places for work and holiday, whenever there is an opportunity. Currently, I get agricultural and rental income on a regular basis. In addition, we have some developmental projects underway, at my hometown, Rajahmundry. These are expected to give high yields.
