We expressed interest in each other on Jeevansathi.com in march 2009.Her father called me on up on April 5 and we fixed a meeting at Banur, Distt.-Patiala in that coming week. I first met Harinderjeet & her family members on April 8, 2009. We had normal discussion and nothing was finalised. I expressed my desire to meet Harinderjeet alone to her father to which he readily agreed. So we met again on 22nd april in Chandigarh and I observed that she was the one made for me as we shared common interests.From then on we started calling eachother.Finally I told my parents about her, to which they were more than happy.Later Harinderjeet's father visited my parents and invited them to his place.Then my parents met her & her family at Patiala. Now both of our families had agreed to our marriage. As her flight to Australia was on 9th of May so all ceremonies were delayed by few months i.e. till October. Since then on we have been in constant contact with each other either through emails or phones or internet chatting.She left for Australia on 8th of may, after reaching there we were again spending endless hours with each other through internet chatting or phones.Before she came to India her father met me again to know my view about our marriage, I told him that I was ready. At the same he met my parents again & they collectively fixed our engagement on 25th of october 2009.Then she came back form Australia on 14th of oct & we got engaged on 25th of oct 2009.Our ring ceremony took place in Beckons hotel, at Chandigarh.In the ceremony only close relatives were present & the gathering was approximately of 100 people. After engagement our parents fixed a convenient date for our marriage i.e. 4th of December 2009. Then finally the day came when we got married on 4th of December 2009.Our marriage was solmnised at Chahal farms Patiala & ceremony took place at 23 no.phatak Gurudwara.In my marriage procession about 250 people from my side were present & 250 were from bride's.Our marriage was carried out by Sikh rituals. And on 5th of Dec we gave reception party to our relatives & friends at Dawat Resorts at Anandpur Sahib. Since then on we have been happily living together.
