Many of us have heard the crazy/funny suggestion & may have negative prospective about meeting a prospective groom/bride online on matrimonial site and may of us have bad experience because of they haven’t found there right match or may have ended in rejection. It would be interesting to share my experiences on Jeevansathi.com that founding my life partner and it going to end in the marriage. I met Rashmi through jeevansathi website, we both are managing our Jeevansathi profile by self therefore, after accepting the request we had a first communication via mobile call. We started chatting on Whatsapp and had a long conversation on call in the evening i.e. after office hours. Mostly we talk about likes-dislikes of each other’s, similarities in our family/culture (as we both from different cast but same Hindu religion), expectations from future spouse, hobbies & common interest, ambitions/ Future goals, about Indian & global economy (As we both are from same profession Chartered Accountant) and blah blah blah…. The best part is that we had random conversations and we didn't get bored with each other at all. After a weeks we decided to meet each other personally on April 16, 2016. It was my birthday!! We met at mall in the Thane. We had a first time face to face conversation, we both were nervous. We celebrate my birthday and the meetings continued on every weekends besides regular phone calls (as I was on Outstation audit and coming to Mumbai on every Saturday and Sunday). Few weeks later we decided to have a joint meeting with our parents. But, we both don’t want any unexpected situation/ conversation to be arise during the parents meeting as we both are from different cast. Therefore, we decided to first met with each other’s parents individually (one day, I met with her parents along with her and on next day she met with my parents along with me). After getting positive response from both parents we planned a joint parents meeting (We were decided to go ahead even If, there was a negative response ;-) ) We got engaged on August 15, 2016. Going to get married on this December 04, 2016. So for me, its a combination of love and arranged!!! It was a right decision of registering my profile on jeevansathi.com changed my life forever. If I wouldn’t have registered my profile online, I wouldn’t have met Rashmi. Thank you Jeevansathi team for giving such an amazing platform that helps to find life partner so easily.
