We met through jeevansathi and decided to get married. In the beginning, our family agreed on the conventional Hindu marriage as it happens nowadays. But, gradually when we started talking over the phone, we discussed how painstaking efforts our parents did to earn money. Our marriage date, wedding photographer, venue and most of the essential arrangements were booked, but when we saw the huge amount of advance payments our parents were spending, we decided to go for the Arya Samaj marriage. On 4th February 2017, the day when our Roka was fixed, we got married in the Arya Samaj and this decision was duly approved and appreciated by our parents.
