Our parents got in touch through the app in the month of April after which our numbers were shared with each other. I messaged her on 15 April 2022. As we both hated texts we started having conversations on the call and were getting to know each other. We both probably had similar thoughts on approach towards life and future and had similar family values. I liked her openness and honesty. After 10 days of conversing with each other and evaluating our compatibility we finally decided to meet. Being posted in Kashmir, I travelled from Srinagar to Rishikesh on 01 May 2022. The moment I saw her I was mesmerized by her beauty and elegance. A very special incident occurred on the first day we met. This may sound a bit filmsy but it exactly happened like it has been narrated over here. We went to a cafe along Ganges river where seating was outdoor. We were both sitting and chatting. After a few minutes she said "if it rains today then I will know you are the one for me". There were no chances of rainfall as the weather was clear with no clouds which made me 'gloomy'. But after 15-20 mins it just literally drizzled for 15 seconds. This was our first moment where we knew we were bound for one another. After 2 days of meeting and getting to know each other we decided to call her parents to Rishikesh on the 3rd day where I met them. I was very nervous to the thought of meeting her parents but they were so lovely and caring that I spent 4 hours with them in a jiffy. My father also met Mohini later on and our families decided to take a step further. We were 'Rokafied' on 22 May 2022 after 37 days of knowing each other. We got married on 07 July in a beautiful ceremony in Ghaziabad. I would like to highlight a few points which I followed in the process 1. Searching for a partner is a long drawn out and time taking process as it involves sync of families too. One needs to be patient in the entire process 2. There should be complete transparency and open communication when getting to know your partner. 3. One should not be disheartened if talks with someone are ceased in between.
