Patna is one of the fastest growing cities and is ranked among the best places for business in the country. While many languages are spoken in Patna, Hindi and Urdu are the official languages. Many residents of Patna are natives of one of the four other regions of Bihar- Bhojpur, Mithila, Vajj or Ang besides Magadh which differ only slightly from each other.
Intermarriages and cultural intermixing among the people of the five regions is so common that it is difficult to discern the differences.
