Buddhists are the people that follow Buddhism. They are mainly settled in north eastern region of India where it is the most followed religion. Buddhist do not believe in inter-mingling of weddings with religion and hence, have the liberty to choose a partner outside their religion. Buddhist groom on his wedding day wears a dress known as Bhaku, made of brocade and reaching till the ankles. Buddhist weddings are very simple where most of the decision is still taken by the elders of the family.
