Hindi-MP Bhopal is the term used to refer to those who fulfill the following three conditions- (a) speak Hindi as their main language, (b) belong to Madhya Pradesh and (c) live in the 'City of Lakes', Bhopal. Bhopal is the capital of Madhya Pradesh (MP) where Hindi is spoken by the majority of people while other commonly used languages are Urdu, Bhopali and English. Even as the population of Bhopal has 55% Hindus, Muslims constitute a significant portion with around 40% people following Islam.
