| New Delhi Kayasthas, who have Chitragupta as their ancestors, are a social group of people living in the capital of India. Kayastha's traditions and rituals are a mix of Brahmin and Kshatiyas, due to which they are known to have the status of dual- varnas. Kayasthas are mainly found living in the northern parts of India, especially in the capital city, i.e. New Delhi.
