Lucknow, 'The Golden City of the East' is a multicultural city known for its beautiful gardens, courtly manners, poetry, music and cuisine. It has more than 70% Hindus and about 25% Muslims with other religions in minority. Kshatriya Lucknow i.e. the community of Kshatriyas living in Lucknow is known to follow certain codes of conduct. This conduct is in the form of Kshatriya Dharma that were created to do justice to the caste and status. Intermarriage in Kshatriyas is traditionally not allowed.
