The Kutchi grooms have various sub-castes, which include such as Rahima, Khatri, Bhatti, Hingorja, Memon, Batala, Kumhar, Mistri, Nagar Brahmins, Kutch Gurjar Kshatriyas, etc. The Kutchi grooms wear a headgear known as `Paagh`, kurta and dhoti made out of thick cloth, and also wear silver jewellery. A Kutchi groom wears high heel embroidered sharp pointed shoes. The Kutchi community believes in arranged marriages within the same community, and is completely against wedding in the same gotra.
