Yadavas are an Indian caste that traces origin from Yadu. Yadavs, generally follow the Vaishnav traditions and practice believes of the Dharmic religion. They have been mentioned as one of the panchjanya tribes in ancient Vedic texts. Historically, particularly with reference to the Vedic Period, the Yadavs were recognized for their bravery and diplomatic wisdom. Yadavs are known to be "naturally" inclined to fight and to govern. The people with Yadav caste are mostly found in Nepal and India.
