Tamil Muslims is the community of Muslim people, who have Telugu as their Mother tongue. A large number of Tamil Muslims reside in the areas of Madurai, Kayalpattinam, Tamil Nadu in India and abroad, they can be found living in Malaysia, Singapore and parts of the Western Europe and North America. Tamil Muslims, unlike other majority of Indians, follow the profession of urban traders. Tamil Muslims are highly influenced by Sufis and their Aqidah is based on their usual practise, i.e., sunnah.
