Tanti matrimony is the wedding ceremony of the community known as Tanti. It is one of the Hindu castes living in the Bihar state of India. They are traditionally known to be the weavers and many of them are involved in the art and craft business. One can witness Tanti matrimony in regions like south part of Bihar and Ranchi in Jharkhand. Panchpargania is the language spoken by them. The cultures and traditions of Tantis are similar to Koshta and Tattama, which are the other Hindu weaving castes.
