The Varshneys are Bania sub-caste and are residents of western Uttar Pradesh. The Varshney grooms can be looked in the districts of Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Agra and Badaun. The Varshneys follow the Baniya customs in their wedding celebrations. Professionally, a Varshney groom is mainly into family or self-businesses.
