Yadav, the descents from King Yadu of Chandravanshi Kshatriya clan, is a caste found in both India and Nepal. They follow Vaishnav (worship of Lord Vishnu and his avatars like Rama and Krishna) traditions and Dharmic religious beliefs. Yadav Mumbai belong to Kshatriya varna or class of Hinduism and includes the groups of Sevunas, Solaskars and Jadhavas. There are various major clans under Yadavs.
Yadav Mumbai does not believe in inter marriage though it is becoming prevalent with changing times.
