Bengali Hindu Brahmins are the Brahmins who are traditionally residing in the Bengal state of the country of India. Presently, a significant number of Bengali Hindu Brahmins can be found situated in the areas of West Bengal, Bangladesh, Tripura and Assam. Bengali Hindu Brahmins are generally said to be better educated than other classes of Hindus. Bengali Hindu Brahmins can be classified into three major divisions as Rādhi, Varendra and Vaidika, on the basis of the regions they have settled in.
