The natives of the state of Himachal Pradesh are commonly called Himachalis. Himachali Chandigarh is the community of those people who speak Pahari and its dialects, belong to HP and have moved to Chandigarh. This group also speaks Hindi, Punjabi, Mandeali, Kinnauri and various others. More than 95% population of the state comprises Hindus and thus, followers of other religions are in small sizes. Some of the major Hindu communities in HP are Brahmins, Rajputs, Gujjars, Jats, Rathis and Kolis.
