The Indian states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh have Hindi as the chief language. Though people from all religious background reside in these states, majority population practices Hinduism. The wedding ceremony for the Hindi speaking community spans over several days with many pre and post wedding rituals as well. There are some matrimonial rituals specific to the Hindi Grooms. The Hindi Grooms also wear silk dhoti kurta or embroidered sherwani on the day of wedding.
