Hindu Jats are brave hearted people and from their childhood, martial spirit is fostered into them. They are an indo-Aryan ethnic group found mainly in northern region. Most of the Jat families follow Hinduism or Skihism or both the religion. Historically, Jats are a peasant caste and agriculture is their main occupation. Many Jats are venturing into various businesses today and are earning good living for themselves. Hindu Jat grooms usually marry within the caste through an arranged marriage.
