Kannada Buddhists are referred to the group of people living in the Karnataka and are the practitioners of the Buddhism religion. Kannada Buddhists mainly use Kannada as their language to communicate, which is a prominent south Indian language. The beliefs and the practises of Siddartha Gautama, popularly known as Lord Buddha, are traditionally followed by the Kannada Buddhists. The rituals and customs of Kannada Buddhists are also influenced by the communal culture of the people of Karnataka.
