Malayalee Buddhists are the group of people hailing from the Malayalee regions of India and practise Buddhism as their religion. Kerela is the main state, where most of the Malayalee Buddhists can be found having their origins from. Malayalee Buddhists follow different believes, custom and practises, which vary according to their place of living. Marriages in Malayalee Buddhists mainly occur between the people of their community with the marriage ceremonies, influenced by the Keralites.
