Malayalee Thane is the group of native speakers of Malayalam, settled in Thane in Maharashtra. From Kerala in south India, they move to the southwest city of Thane to progress either professionally or academically. The cultural traditions followed in Kerala and Maharashtra are very different from each other. Keralites and Maharashtrians do not have much in common but what brings them together is their modern approach. And when it comes to matrimony, they usually marry within the same religion.
