Tamil Hindu pillai are the people belonging to Tamil speaking community residing in the Indian regions of Tamil Nadu and Kerela. They are the followers of the Hindu religion and are also referred to as the landowning feudal society linked with the Mudaliar community, which is of Thondaimandalam. The people of this community are spread across all the regions of Tamil Nadu, Srilanka, Singapore and Malaysia. They have made great contribution in almost every sector of the country's development.
