The Vaidiki grooms are followers of six Darsanas or the systems described in the Hindu philosophy. The Vaidiki community has strong belief in Vedic practices, based on Purva Mimansa. The Vaidiki community permits the people to choose a particular aspect of God to worship, and mainly consider Vishnu as their almighty god. The Vaidiki grooms are mainly into private and government professions. The wedding attire for a Vaidiki groom includes traditional white silk dhoti, angavastram, and sandals.
