Assamese Hindus are the Assamese speaking people with their religious believes attached with the Hindu religion. Assamese Hindus reside in a multi-linguistic, multi-ethnic and multi-religious culture. The languages spoken by them are believed to come from three major language groups- Indo-Aryan, Tibeto-Burman and Austro-Asiatic. Assamese Hindus practise different careers to earn their living. Assamese Hindus are said to worship and believe in the spiritual powers of almost all the Hindu Gods.
