Gujarati/Kutchi people are those who have originated from Gujarat and traditionally speak Gujarati or Kutchi. Gujarati/Kutchi Ahmedabad group is made up of Gujarati and Kutchi speaking people, settled in the city of Ahmedabad. Gujaratis may adhere to any religion but majority of them are Hindus and Muslims are in minority. Some of the castes in Kutchi people are Rahima, Gharana, Khalifa, Memon and Marvada among various others. They follow a culture similar to that of Sindhis and Rajasthanis.
