Hindi, the official language of India is spoken mainly in northern states of Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand and Bihar.
The predominant language of MP or the Central Province is Hindi and various dialects of Hindi. According to census of 2000, about 7% population of MP follows Muslim religion. Hindi MP Muslims reside in cities like Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Shivpuri, Rewa and others in the state.
