Punjabi is the language spoken by the people having their origins in Punjab region of India and Pakistan. It is an indo-Aryan language. Punjabi people are marked by their linguistic skills and culture which is reflected in their wedding celebration.
Other than Punjab state, Punjabi is widely spoken in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, and in countries like USA, U.K, Canada and so on. Punjabi speaking Muslims came to India after India-Pakistan partition and has small but significant population.
