Shwetamber, literally meaning 'clad in white clothes' is a primary sect in Jainism. They are known for their extreme belief in non violence and for being vegetarians. The sect of Jain Shwetamber is made up of Murtipujaka, Stanakvasi and Terapanthi sub-sects.
Jain weddings are much simpler than Hindu marriages as they don't believe in extravagance. Amidst traditional wedding customs like Kanyavaran, Granthi Bandhan, Phere and Mangal Geet, the Rajasthani Jain Shwetamber marriages are solemnized.
