In physical term the word 'Padmashali' means inteliigence. Padmashali is a Telugu speaking weaver's caste located in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Unlike other communities, Padmashali caste has exclusive weaving skills and produce cloth as a marketable commodity. They are the third largest other backward community with more than 90 Lakh population living in Andhra Pradesh. Padmashali caste is highly Sanskritised with all the men wearing sacred thread and is Brahmnic in its characteristics.
