Hindu Yadav are followers of Vaishnavism and mainly worship Lord Krishna. Yadav's are Chandravanshi clan Kshatriyas mainly found in the northern region of India. Hindu Yadav's are known to be conservative and marry within their caste. Marriage is a huge celebration among Yadavs lasting for two weeks or so. Hindu Yadav groom is expected to respect and obey each and every decision made by his family and usually do arranged marriage. He wears Kurta and Dhoti or Sherwani on his wedding day.
