Haryanavi Hindu Yadavs are the group of people belonging to the Yadav caste and who practise Hinduism. The people of Yadav caste follow the Vaishnav traditions and generally share the believes of Dharmic religion. A large number of people from the Yadav caste live in different parts of Nepal and India. The Yadavs living in Haryana, are said to have been derived from their ancestors known as Abhirayana. Gurgaon, Rewari, Narnaul and Mahendragarh are places in Haryana, where Yadavs are prominent.
