Kashmiri Muslims are the people belonging to the Islamic community living in the Kashmir valley of India. Kashmiri Shias are the Kashmiris who fall under the Shia sect of Muslims and are follow their rituals and customs. There is a significant population of Muslims in Kashmir, out of which major population is of Sunni Muslims, followed by the Shias. The customs and the traditions of Shia Muslims in Kashmir valley are same as followed by the other Muslim Shias in the other parts of the world.
