From bride: I have been a very particular on what type of person I want as my life partner. Since I am a very career oriented person I didn't wanted to compromise in any way on these lines. Because of that perhaps I was little reluctant to going forward with marriage. My dad created my profile in Jeevansathi and clearly mentioned in detail what we were looking for in my desired partner's profile. Within no time many people expressed interest in my profile and even my dad expressed interest in some of the gud profiles. After scrutiny we shortlisted a couple of profiles and Abhinav's profile was amongst them. This was perhaps within 2-3 months of creation of profile that we got the desired person as we were looking & the also the family, so loving and affectionate as my family wanted. Abhinav was the 1st person who came to see me on 9th July'10 and since everything went well, both the families finalised everything soon and our Roka was done on 11th July'10. On the same day our engagement date was finalised. We got engaged on 20th Aug'10 and soon will be getting married on 7th Feb'11. Since we both were brought up in the same city and state i.e. the same surroundings & culture its much easy for us to understand each other better.
